Preschool started up for Brennan yesterday. We met his teacher at an open house on Friday and got to check out his classroom. For his first day, he ate two pancakes and a big cup of milk for breakfast. We had picked out his outfit the night before, so there were no arguments over what to wear and he was ready with his backpack. He insisted on bringing his Crocs for the car, so he could put them on when I picked him up.
Brennan is in Ms. Judi's 4 day 4's class this year and will be attending school Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to noon. His class is much larger this year, with 17 kids, as opposed to last year's 9 kids. But, there are a few familiar faces, including his friend Carter, who arrived at the same time as us.
Brennan was all smiles when I picked him up and said he wanted to go back the next day. They made a handprint craft for the first day of school.
