Mariah, Howie, Avery and Olivia came down last Wednesday night before the party. We had a great time. On Thursday, we headed to Volcano Island at
Algonkian Park. The kids had fun playing together in the pool.
Brennan seemed to enjoy "crawling" through the .5 foot section of the pool. It kind of looks like he's swimming, but it's just really shallow!
On Friday, we took the kids to
Sport Bounce of Loudoun, which has bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses. Although it claims to be for 2 and up, I think Brennan, Avery and Olivia were a little too young to fully enjoy it. Some of the slides were really tall, but overall the kids did pretty well. Brennan went down the big slide once and immediately asked for more, but after climbing up a second time, was too scared to come down. I had to climb up to rescue him!
That night, we had pizza and wings to celebrate Brian's birthday. Brennan helped Brian blow out his candles.
