Weekend in NY

We made our last out of town trip this weekend. My sister was graduating from Hoftra with a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, so we decided to go up to celebrate with her. During the trip, Peter was hoping to feel the baby move, but he never got a chance. Thought this was a funny picture of the three Huszagh kids. Congrats on a job well done, Deb!
We stayed at Pecorinos during this trip and had a packed itinerary for Saturday, since graduation was on Sunday morning and we would be driving home afterwards. We spent the morning with Brian's parents, headed to Kerry and Philip's for lunch and had dinner with my family that evening. Kerry and Philip just got a puppy named Stella, so Brennan was very excited to meet her. He liked playing with her and her toys and had fun locking himself in her crate!
When we arrived at my parents house, Peter and Meg had buried a treasure chest for Brennan and had a pirate map for him to follow. Pete helped him navigate the map and he found where X marked the spot.

Brennan thoroughly enjoyed finding his treasure chest and wanted to put on every piece of his treasure! Meg encouraged him to give us a good, "argh," and he did. He woke up asking for his treasure chest the last two mornings and couldn't wait to put his treasure on to become a pirate. Can't wait to see his face at his birthday party in a couple weeks (we are celebrating early) when he sees I bought him a full pirate costume!

Lastly, Uncle Pete took Brennan climbing in a tree (or maybe I should say that Pete climbed the tree and my dad lifted Brennan to Pete.) Brennan had fun pulling leaves and flower buds off the tree and throwing them down at us.
