Our little mover and shaker turned 9 months over the weekend and we headed to the doctor for a check up on Monday. In his usual style of never staying still, it was impossible to get a good shot of him at the doctor's office. He weighed in at 19 lb 12 oz (38%) and was 29.25 inches long (82%.) He had over a 3 pound gain from 3 months ago and grew 1.25 inches. Developmentally, he is doing just fine - crawling, pulling up, saying "Mamamama...." and making plenty of other noises. He is grabbing things with his thumb and fingers and has started to eat table food. Apparently, he is supposed to be able to wave bye-bye at this age, but that's something we haven't worked on with him, so that's what we'll work on next. I thought the photo below captured the essence of Tyler at 9 months old - on the ground, ready to go with a car toy next to him, dirty spit up bib, with spit up on his chin and spit up on his pant leg from crawling through whatever came out of his mouth.
